About Us

Our Mission

Our focus is to Rebuild and Uplift men and women in their personal, spiritual, professional, and financial lives so that they can be successful for themselves and everyone around them.

Our Vision

To create a cycle in communities that will Rebuild and Uplift all people.

Our History

Rebuilding and Uplifting Inc. originated from a group called Rebuilding and Uplifting Women. Years beforehand God gave Kimberly Ricks a dream where she was talking to a small group of women sitting in a circle with her. She was not sure of when that dream was going to come to pass, then the year 2018 came. She began working for a company and during down time, a few co-workers (women) would begin to talk about their relationships and things going on in their lives. For some reason, they were drawn to talk to Kimberly. One day she said, “do we want to set up a meeting outside of work?” and to her surprise, they said yes. In April of 2018 about 5-6 of them met, and from that day the group was formed. Through the ups and downs they met every month. At the meetings they discussed finances, relationships, mental/emotional health, physical health and things about their spiritual walk.

In May of 2020, God told Kimberly to create an organization that would be the Umbrella over that Women’s Group. This organization was to be called Rebuilding and Uplifting Inc. because it would be for all people, not just women. As the mission statement says, this organization is here to rebuild and uplift men and women so that they can be successful in their everyday lives. We are here to provide support in areas of their personal, spiritual, professional, and financial lives. As they begin to be rebuilt and uplifted, they are able to continue that cycle of growth in their communities.

As of September 2020, Rebuilding and Uplifting Inc. has grown into a 501(c)3 organization. We are looking forward to serving our neighborhood and communities one step at a time.
